Re: Post Approval Wait Time?
When I got my license last week to my suprise there were two, one for me and one for some guy in a town Ihad never heard of. I looked the fellows name up on the internet and fortunately for him he was listed. I called him up and asked him if he wanted me to send it back to DPS or straight to him. I'...

Re: DPS is a joke ...
You do not owe an apology to anyone. Simone is a spokesperson for DPS and if she cannot accept responsiblity on behalf of DPS then she should not answer the phone or give it to someone who can be held accountable. They lost the benefit of the doubt several months ago and diserve any discontent direc...

Re: HECK YES!
Great news computer dude! Except for the telling them they did a good job for 27 days after the 60 day goal. I would rather you just tell them to kick a stump or pull their bottom lip over their heads and swallow.

Re: IS ANYONE ELSE SICK OF EXCUSES?
The purpose of the open records request is to force them to a 10 day timeline to answere my question. Previous attempts have not been responded to at all. If they do not repond within the prescribed time frame I can file charges on their designated information officer at the DA's office. They have h...

IS ANYONE ELSE SICK OF EXCUSES?
I have spoken to my Rep, Senator, Texas Riffle Association Lobbyist and Simone about the delays and the theme is they have ineffectively managed the whole process. I have resorted to sending Open Records Requests the CHL Bureau. So now if they do not answer my questions in a timely manner I can file...

Re: Mailed 5/29 - Still shows packet mailed to applicant
DPS reveived my documents on May 29th and my status is still "packet mailed to applicant". I called my state rep and senator to try to make sure my application completion will be closer to 60 days rather than 90. I not feeling too represented at this point. I talked to one of the clerks at...

Re: PIN number question
I contacted my state rep and senator today even though they only received my application on May 29th. I told them 60 days was too long and 90 is unacceptable. They both told me they have a lot more applications to process than they did a year ago. I told them to use the extra revenue and get them pr...

DPS received my application over a week ago and my status is still, application mailed to applicant. Has any observed the catagories and the length of time at each?

FINGER PRINTS
I cut a tendon on my right pinky finger 20 years ago and it will not open even with force. When my instructor took my prints he left it blank and wrote deformed finger. Will tis slow down the process?
