One more q: Is there a website with all the information on it? Ideally I'm looking for a flyer or something online so I can send to my neighbors ... maybe something with times, class options, activities, etc? I understand things are probably still being planned, but there are a few folks in our neighborhood that just might be interested in driving down.

Husband and I just mailed our CHL apps in about 2 weeks ago ... I'm brand spankin' new to the board, but this event sounds great!

Few questions if someone doesn't mind replying:
1) Do we have to have our plastic in hand in order to attend?
2) Roughly what is the cost per person? I saw something about $15, but wasn't sure if that was just for food, or what??? Just wondering if we're talking fees of $15 or $100 per person ...
3) Is it just a one-day thing?
4) What towns are close enough to get a NICE hotel room? I know, I know, a sissy thing for a gun-interested chick, but I'm somewhat of a hotel snob. It's a disease, and I can't help it. Saw someone post about a Springfield Suites in Pearland - how far is that from the event?

For what it's worth, I've spent the better part of this weekend enjoying this board. :) My husband just bought me a Glock 27 yesterday and it's by far the most romantic thing he's ever done. I LOVE IT!!!!
