Question. I just recently applied for my CHL. Waiting on the paperwork.

Since I'm graduating there is the possibility I get a job outside of the state of Texas.

My question is....is that CHL valid in that state if I'm a resident there? I know about reciprocity and whatnot...But since its a Texas CHL and say I'm a resident of....Louisiana, can I change my permenant address to be my Louisiana address on a Texas CHL?

I hope my question made sense... Basically all I'm trying to figure out is: If i move and live out of state...do I need to get a License for that state? Or will my Texas one cover me there as long as I take the necessary steps to keep it legal (change of address and whatnot).
