Almost there...
Coolo! Congrats to all! When you check the website and see "Application complete. License Issued or Active" you'll know that the license is in the mail to you, and will be only a matter of days when you get it.MojoTexas wrote:Update from DPS: The license is being printed. They might be a forum member.jmdevera wrote:man thats got to be heart breaking. its hard enough to wait especially when everyone else is getting theirs...nairb wrote:Its for someone in Bedford, so I don't think it's yours.
Last summer when DPS was just totally overwhelmed with applications, someone would get the notice on the website that an application was "complete/license active" and it would take 2 weeks to get it to them. Everyone wondered why, and no one could provide a reasonable explanation.Done. Man I sure hope that its just really slow getting here. I don't really want to wait for this issue to get resolved and have to be put into another batch to sit and wait for a new license...
Tonight would be a good time to email them and let them know you haven't received it yet. Be sure to include your full name & address, TX D.L & Soc.Sec.#. Then do a follow up call tomorrow.jmdevera wrote:still not here and was complete on 2/2/10. i live 20 minutes outside of houston in league city. at what point should i be concerned that it was lost in transit? what would be the procedure?
Super congrats!Advrider1 wrote:It's Official! Postman delivered today.
Depends on the length of time it takes the mail to get to you from Austin.SYMWAFA wrote:Thanks for the congrats guys! Now, the 10 billion dollar question is: How long til the license gets here? I'm guessing within a week.
