Over the last year or two posting has expanded from parking lot entrances at just one administration building to every school, administration, stadium every parking lot entrance affiliated with the ISD in the entire city. Curiously the entrances to the actual premises i.e buildings are not posted. The city continues to post the city owned convention center as well enforced by the local police. I was very disappointed that HB508 was hijacked for purely elitist reasons and that SB16 apparently won't go forward in the special session.Keith B wrote:If it is a building, then it is a premise. Premises does not include sidewalks, parking lots or open grounds, but all school owned buildings would be off-limits.nightmare69 wrote:What about a school building that does NOT house teachers or students, like our maintenance shop or the administration building? Its just us maintenance staff and our office workers here. If it was not posted and someone who has a CHL came in could they legally carry?
