The military channel had an interesting piece on last night called "inside the FBI" It showed a group of about 15 FBI agents all armed like SWAT officers conducting a search warrant on a middle class home. Their target was to retrieve computers, flash drives and portable hard drives from the home. I didn't quite catch what the crime was, but in the briefing before the raid, they said that everyone was to be on alert, as they had checked the gun registration records and their target had a 9mm hand gun registered at that address.rp_photo wrote:The movie industry bribed (I meant lobbied) the right people in the federal government to make recording movies a federal crime.Keith B wrote:This incident has nothing to do with AMC being anti-gun. I would also be suspicious of someone in the theater with a video recording device and have them removed if I were the management. I think they went way overboard calling the Feds, and the Feds went way overboard on their Gestapo interrogation methods, but video piracy is a big problem these days.
Seemed a much different FBI than the one I remember in the Jimmy Stewart movie.
