Re: Reacher on Amazon Prime

We finished the series in a couple of days. My wife loved it because it wasn’t drenched in F-bombs and sexy-times scenes. I had to watch Yellowstone alone, so Reacher was good. It's funny. There are plenty of F-bombs in Reacher, but they don't seem nearly as offensive as they are in Yellowstone. If...

Re: Reacher on Amazon Prime

On a related topic...I plan to subscribe to Paramount + for a short time to binge watch 1883. Is anybody watching it that can tell me how many episodes are available for viewing? It is currently 7. They seem to come out irregularly, though another is due out the 13th. IMDB.com is your friend for th...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 26 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

I think the Academy situation is a prime example of why some companies decide to err on the side of caution and set company policies so it would be easier to keep within the law. I would not blame a company for establishing a company policy of only selling to someone with a valid in state ID consid...

Re: Shoot Point Blank, Humble, Texas, Now open!

I was recently hired by Shoot Point Blank in North Richland Hills. My employment lasted 45 minutes on the first day. I was told that my beard had to go ... 1/2” maximum length allowable. The manager and I both smiled, shook hands, and parted ways with no hard feelings. What, they didn’t notice till...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

Matui vernier caliper came from my paternal grandpa and will always have a home here, but my eyes have an increasingly difficult time with the vernier scale. You could probably make money betting people to read the vernier. :biggrinjester: Calculators, computer-aided drafting, and now inexpensive e...

Re: CO: Injuries reported, 'unstable situation, shots fired' at Colorado school

On the news tonight they called it a “STEAM” school. For those that don’t know, “STEM” stands for “science, technology, engineering and math”. The “A” in “STEAM” stands for “Arts”. Added by those that couldn’t stand to allow a purely tech subject and needed to dilute it down with something that has ...
