Here in lies the biggest problem with D.C. That problem isn't about either of the political parties but about the Elitists in both who promote the divide between the haves and have nots. In this case, it isn't money but power. The "have power" types want exceptions to all of the rules that are so good for the rest of us. as for the article itself, i was talking about it with a coworker that sent it to me and he seemed to think that the underlying message was that it doesn't seem fair that the wealthy and middle class citizens are able to afford protection in the form of the legal purchase of a gun for home defense, while poor people don't have the luxury of extra cash laying around to buy a new gun. is it not legal to purchase a used gun from another citizen in DC?
I used to have to travel to D.C. a lot on business. I'm so glad that is over.
