Turns out someone spilled a drink on the phone I was using and the 7 sometimes dials a 1. All I could think to say when she answers was.... "Really?" When she realized I was sitting a couple of desks away we all got a laugh.

So I am on-duty making a phone call on a case. I was using a dispatch line because I needed the call recorded. I dial the # that started with 917 area code. I could hear the 911 emergency line ringing as my call was ringing. Sure enough I called 911, from 911. Turns out someone spilled a drink on the phone I was using and the 7 sometimes dials a 1.
