By the way, the little scissors on the Swiss Army Knife is the tool that I use most often. People have been brainwashed about anything that even looks like a weapon. I wonder when we are going to have "baseball bat control"?
I was once told by a fellow worker that the only reason for a knife was to kill people, he was being serious. :banghead:

Saddest thing was I'd see another work associate open boxes using scissors pulling them toward her. The scissors would be open and if the blade had slipped the other blade would have gone straight into her belly. The thought never occurred to her just how dangerous her act was, nor that it would have been safer using a knife. (Or in her case a box cutter but she thought box cutters were also a weapon.)

Take all kinds but if these two are as typical as I fear our society is going down fast.

Re: Mass. wants to restrict knife-sales now....

All it takes is some education to make it work. Don't remember the source but not too long ago I remember a story told by the head of Benchmade Knives. He was on a British sailing yacht and some lines got tangled. They needed a knife to cut them but none of the sailors had one. He said when he took his out of his pocket he thought half the crew was going to jump over the side when they saw the evil knife he had.

Lets not forget the baby that burned to death after a car accident a few month ago in S. Kalifornia. Car on fire, car seat straps jammed. No one had a knife to cut the straps.

But it isn't just the British or the Kalifornians, I break the law every time I go into San Antonio. Have a small lock blade on my key ring. I sometime wonder how small the percentage of sheeple actually carry knives. I suspect it is a lot smaller than we think. Maybe nearly as small as those who have carry licenses.

:patriot: :txflag:
Only not in name because our rulers have made themselves almost immune from the laws we must follow. Some day a future dictionary may list the following as synonyms:
gangster, thug, hoodlum, criminal, racketeer, congressman, senator, city councilman, mayor, . . .
