Wow I think I just ran into one of the stupid one's in the world. Yes my writing is ruff but if you can't comprehend what I wrote you have much bigger things to worry about. Yes the part about me checking ID's was unclear so let me verify. I will be when I get out of the academy not currently. You know I've read that sentence like 50 times and yes it is bad but anybody with basic comprehesion skills could logically assume from the rest of the story that I was not yet a officer but in the academy. Oh,but not you it's all about assumptions a bad judgment on your part (is that a hint to why your still not in LE) what a surprise? Your one of those people that has to be in constant control and must always be right about everything, it's evident from your posts. It's really too bad so many people actually listen to anything you have to offer except for you exact replication of state statue. Hey you attacked me first, unprovoked for any reason other than your dis-like of my stories? So (Edited For 10 Year Old Daughter Rule and Mr. Cotton said take this STUFF TO PM's) - carlson1

Wow you have no idea what your talking about, you have now proved yourself the internet warrior I thought you were. So from some of your other post you were only a cop for what 3 years if that, and your now going to get recertifed so what have you been doing? Becasue your for sure no type of investigator with only 3 years experience. Why are you no longer a current officer? In LE you'd be little more than a greenhorn with only 3 years under your belt. You were affiliated with the DFW gunrange whats is that supposed to mean? You subcontract your services or make $8 bucks working in the store. Wow what an attack, grammar!! showing your immaturity with that. Do you work for DPD?The answer is no, training is 10 months long. I'm one of the 50 recruits that is currently in the academy. You can go about being the internet EDITED ONCE AGAIN you are while I actually live my life in reality.

so how would I do that? TXI....... well if you have no I.D. and refuse offer a valid checkable name you can be arrested for failure to identify and if you have no liscence or insurance you can be jailed for both of those as well. so instead of being a bagde heavy jerk I'll simply use the law as it's supposed to be used. Most likely that person will never see that car again because he or she can't afford the impound fee's plus actaually have insurance not including court cost, possible fines, why be rude and disrespectful when your already doing so much damage to them.

How is that supposed to be terribly suspicious? I haven't had any incidents since I was about 22, I have been put in hand cuffs many times and told I was being arrested but then I would ask what am I being arrested for and the cop would say nothing and then 15-45 mins they would give me back my I.D. and say I'm free to go. Police stupidity and brutality go hand in hand at least in the Plano Allen Frisco area. My first story of stupidity /brutality was driving in my own neighborhood around dusk and the Automatic Headlights in the car I was driving were apparently an issue I was driving with to my friends house with him in the car to his house we were behind another driving down the street. This unknown person calls the police and says I'm chasing he flashing my lights at her coincidently she turns on the same street we do and then into the same alley we do "all by coincidence" keep in mind we are behind her this entire time we as were both going down the alley this guy in the other car is apparently screaming at the 911 operator saying "there after me" just 2 houses before we get to my freinds house 3 plano cops show up guns drawn ordering us out of the car were like what the EDITED OUT so we do exactly as were told then were both handcuffed and told were being arrested. As their investigation continues they ask me why i was flashing my lights at this guy in front of me ever since I pulled out behind him earlier in the nieghborhood I say i wasn't and I don't what he's talking about this car has automatic headlights that come on I didn't do anything Then allof the officers then stare at me then look at each other for a second and then look at me again and tell me I'm lying that no car has automatic headights so I tell him to go look in the car on the dash the officer says he doesn't need to so after an hour and a half of hand cuffs and being told I was a liar they let us both go and didn't say anyting to us when they left at all. Thats just story number 1 heres another good one me and abunch of people are down in the woods paintballing like we had done thousands of times before were in the middle of a break session and I'm just standing there smoking a cigarette out of seemingly no I'm being toppled by a cop who says I' was smoking a joint and he smelt it from the his car where everybody parks. I and everybody else are like what the hell is going on I'm now tackled not resisting in any way yet the cop is screaming stop resisting now all shackeled up he stands me up and starts screaming wheres the dope (well there is none) now there lots of cops down there where we are everybody is in handcuffs and the cops are getting mad they kind find any weed because there is none then clothes start coming off one by one out in the woods looking for our stash shoes sock's pant's shirts and they looked in our underwear for contraband aftre 2 hours of nothing they unhooked us all and said we could go. many of us where mad at this point we say we need them to wait be cause we need to write done thier badge number and names because we are all filling a complaint everybody 12 people the cops say No and tell us to get out of here before we end up back in cuffs I said real loud what for? they then said don't worry about that. At that point all the officers walk out of the woods and left , it ruined the entire day. I'm in week 3 or 4 of a 10 month program so Itry not to look at it in weeks like you could at CCCCD"s 3 month academy. I have 2 associates degrees one in law enforcement in general and another in Corrections I also have a bachelors from UNT in Criminal justice. Maybe I didn't make my previous statement clear enough there is more than enough crime to go around why waste time with something that isn't there. the instructor that is trying to instill be an honest cop there's alot of crime in Dallas dont waste your time with stuff you can't substantiate fairly quickly take a note of it but try and stay more focused on the readily tangible evidence and work from there. That was from a guy named DeCorte not a current instructor but I had him last year. He is the Lead investigator for all police involved shootings in the DPD.

I'm sorry but I have to throw in my two cents, Yes most LEO's are professional in the work but I have found that when dealing with younger individuals 30 years and down LE's have a tendancy to be far to aggressive, disrespectful, with the younger crowd. I personally have been subject to horrible fishing expeditions incredible police stupidity and border line police brutality on multiple occasions, I feel based completely on age. I was extrememly, respectful( using sir's)and complied exactly how I was asked with no hesitation and still to no avail on many occasions it became a day ruiner event. These events have had quite an impact on my life and profession, as a future LEO currently in the DPD academy I will not waste my time on fishing expeditions to possibly get an arrest that has a decent chance of getting kicked when it gets to court. I spend my time giving the 3rd degree to people how have no I.D. and refuse to give a name or for people who drive without a liscense and without insurance, an instructor made it real clear ( no matter how much you think contraband is in the car or something is going on you don't know about if you can't validate what you feel you just have to let it go) and continue about your business. I must go class in 30 mins. and a almost dead battery.
