national guard is under the control of the governor, unless federalized so yep NG can be used at the discretion of the states and doesn't need a congressional mandateparabelum wrote:Speaking of Posse of Comitatus Act, how quickly did that go by the way side during Katrina?
Like fascism. Papers, guns, go that way!

Actually no they aren't engaged in a constitutionally protected Militia, there are laws that define what is and what is NOT a legally established Militia and they ain't it

Re: Texas Citizens Militia
ok your definition of TAG and mine are different, to clarify AG is Attorney General, TAG is Texas Adjutant General way different the TAG is NOT able to make determination on who gets to come to Texasparabelum wrote:I will withhold my opinion on this issue as it is still a free Country, however, keep in mind that CIA agents are leaving explosives on school buses, FBI agents are getting caught up in lies (again), ATF donates guns to cartels, BLM agent's negligence causes a death of another American Citizen, Navy sailors get captured under some very bizarre circumstances and our Airforce leaflets ISIS barbarians instead of blowing them up.
We have a structure in place whereby everyone ought to just "follow the orders".
Nothing new I suppose, but our enemy has morphed and we better sight in on a right target instead shooting our own.
The level of our alphabet soup agencies ineptitude these days is so high that I would almost wager that "some" in these so called "militia" groups are just as, or more highly trained, then BO's non-merit based bureaucratic operatives, with some exceptions of course.
As far as our Governor/TAG, I have my opinions on them as well. Few months ago Mr.TAG allowed Syrian "migrants" to stay few clicks away from my town, about 30 miles from the Nuclear facility.
That's after he said he would NOT do so until FBI can validate them, which by Comey's own admission they cannot.
Look at our border. You think it's all BO's doing?
No my friends, dirty deeds are done dirt cheap on the back of the American Citizen and he is getting awfully ticked off.
And if you think that you are not being watched already, just reading this, well..
God Bless USA!

Re: Texas Citizens Militia
The Texas State Guard is the only legal "militia" in Texas, it takes almost anyone between the age of 17 and 70, it is under the Authority of the Adjutant General of Texas Major General Nichols it answers to the TAG and the Governor and cannot be federalized except within limited circumstances and only in time of emergency, cannot be deployed out of the country period, outside the state only with the governors SOF agreement with another state. The TCM is NOT a legal militia it may call itself anything it wants until it uses military rank structure and then it will be shut down, they have been playing this shhh game for 20 years and been watched very closely the whole time, they will make a mistake one day and get locked up. The group has already had several injunctions against what they are doing in the past. my advice is STAY AWAY, very far away
