I was looking at nfatracker.com tonight and the number of transfers by state (https://www.nfatracker.com/nfa-transfer-time-tracking/ click on the Transfer by State tab). If the numbers are to be believed, Texas has almost 3x the number of NFA transfers being tracked than the closest #2 state (FL).
I realize the site relies on self-reporting but is that gap between states anywhere close to being a reasonable? If so, wow, just wow. I would have expected other gun friendly states like UT, AK, MT, NM, ID, CO (kind of) to have closer purchase rates.
Is Texas really 3x the other states??

I dunno if it's accurate, but I recall a few years ago seeing stats that Texas had a YUGE amount of suppressors compared to anyone else.
