Happy New Year to all!!!! I'm still here. We had about an hour of sporadic shooting in the neighborhood with 15-minutes of mayhem centered on the stroke of midnight. By ear, it sounds like about a dozen idiots didn't understand that Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in Times Square is an hour ahead of us. And then you had all those folks whose clocks were five-minutes ahead, five minutes slow or they just didn't have bullets in the gun at midnight and weren't smart enough to take that as a clue. Heaven knows where all those bullets landed. I haven't been outside to check for holes in the roof or vehicles yet. I expect the alarms would have alerted us to an impacts on the car or truck and we should have heard anything nailing the roof. I'm looking forward to moving later this year. Hopefully next New Year's Day will start MUCH quieter for the first time in my life.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.
