I would have done the same thing if I was ever looking at a 1,400 usd gun....not that I would ever buy a gun that costs that much. I prefer cheap, used ones that are already imperfect, that way if I cause a tiny scrath I do not feel like I have terminated perfection....it keeps my wallet full and my conscience clean. ;-)
