Including the very strategic military .22LR round!

Re: Is Ammo Craze Getting Better?
I struggle with how much is enough when it comes to stockpiling...
I had a conversation today with a coworker about how much I could carry if the worst happened. If I had gasoline, the number is much higher. As an infantryman, I know my limits in terms of how much I could carry (balanced against the need for carrying food, water, shelter) if I have to go on foot.
I have .270 rounds (a few hundred), and 12 gauge rounds in various loads (dove to magnum goose) numbering a thousand or so.
I recently "discovered" (thanks to input from members of this site) Freedom Munitions in Houston. Their on site inventory in Houston appears to be better than any place I've seen recently. I now have a few thousand rounds of 9mm and will start going back to the range (assuming FM keeps their supply up).
All that said, if the worst happened, there's no way I could carry all that with me. I figure I'll balance what it takes to keep me happy shooting and hunting and what I think I'll need to survive if everything goes bad and go from there.
I'll keep checking FM and buy what I need to stay ahead of what I shoot at the range.
My two cents...
