GRB Gunshow Show and Tell

#1

Post by LongHairedRedneck »

Here's what I picked up at the GRB show over the weekend. Got it on a closeout deal to boot!

Also had the Glockmeister put a 3.5# trigger in it. Took it to the range today and it gobbled up 200 rds of various fmj/hollowpoint loads without a hiccup.

What did y'all get at the gunshow this weekend??

Congrats! The 27 is a fantastic gun.

I missed the gun show. I'm in the hunt for a Sig 229 in .40 S&W, Elite Stainless, and really wanted to see if I got lucky at the gun show.

I currently own 4 Glocks including the 27. You did well picking that up!

Looks like my 26, I added (Marine Spring cups, because I kayak) Extended Lone Wolf (Blind Marked) barrel (just cause it looks cool),
Pearce PG-39 grip extensions (+2 in .40/+3 in 9mm) gives the best little finger grip of all the extensions I've tried, which are numerous,
an internal Guide Rod laser and Advantage Tactical Sights (I put those sights on all my Glocks ... love them).

I don't think the OD (Olive Drab) shows through some of my shirts as bad as black guns do. (I know, it's all in my head, no one ever noticed my black or Stainless ones, but I "feel" better now.)

My 19 pretty much gets to rest at home since I got the "Baby"

It's my EDC (Every Day Carry) for over a year.
LOVE IT, hope you enjoy your 27 like I do my 26 ...... I know you will.

He is a guy that has a booth at the local gun shows, who does all sorts of work on Glocks, while you wait.
If you do not get him first thing, you can have a couple hour wait later in the day to get him to work on your weapon

No new guns here, but not a bad little haul...

2x Glock .40 13 round Glock brand magazines - $14/each for "slightly used" mags
2x Glock .40 15 round generic brand magazines - $7/each, new. I'm not too sure about these... they don't slide in as smoothly as the Glock mags
3x AR-15 30 round mags - $8/each for military surplus magazines
2x Speer LE Gold Dot 180gr. boxes
...and a knife sharpening. :)
Carrying since 02/06/2009.

He let me cut in the line of waiting glocks bc it only took him about 45 seconds to install, was the quickest $20 I've ever spent on gunsmithing.

It now has a set of Meprolight night sights and a Desants Cozy Partner Holster to ride around in. Seems to be a comfortable holster but still stiff from not being broken in, not going to give the final grade until a few more weeks of carrying.
