I think that's more for the possesion of the ShortBarrelledShotgun, than the fact that he shot a lawnmower...
even that is a lame charge

The lawnmower probably deserved it. Though he should have sobered up before shooting it. He should have carried it to somewhere that no one would care.

I don't drink that much (actually have better hair, too), but I had one of those LAWNBOYs that could have used a good shooting. Had to pay $20 for lawn mower repairman to haul it off and get rid of it.......it was either that or spend $50 in gas to get to the dump and back. I'd be an understanding jury member.......he did only shoot it with a scatter gun. :nono:

Stories about previous generations can be rather amusing, especially when one considers how society would respond today.

My dad was telling me about a great-uncle that was known as a practical joker. On a camping trip, my great aunt complained that the out-house had no lighting. This particular great-uncle drew his gun and shot several holes in the top.
My aunt said, "Jimmy, there coulda been somebody usin' that!"
His response? "Well it looks like I just scared the fecal matter out of them." (Only he didn't say fecal matter.)

Gun safety has come a long way.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
