Shame on me for using the incorrect "magazine" nomenclature -- I'll flog myself later... "rlol"

Surely the good mayor knows some "connected" folks who can provide him with protection in return for everything he has done for them. Why the need for all this publicity?

IMHO, the soon to be ex-Mayor can have all the security he wants, as long as the cost comes out of His pocket and not the City's, I.E, No on-duty Chicago PD or any other PD. :coolgleamA:

Why should he be able to pay for security he denied to ordinary citizens? I can buy and carry a gun but I can't afford to pay for 24/7 bodyguard protection. Daley doesn't want someone like me to be able to acquire the security I can afford. It seems to me that if I can't carry a gun the people who make the laws denying me this right shouldn't be able to hire someone else to carry a gun for their protection. If it's just a matter of money, not prohibition, fine --I'll buy and carry a gun and take care of my own defense, he can hire someone else to do it for him, but those of the Daley ilk seek to deny the rest of us a right they have reserved for themselves.

I am sure that Daily and others of his ilk(obama) would also like to reinstitue and broaden the Lèse majesté Law so that they have something else to charge us with when we don't like them. :smash:
