I only got the tail-end of the report last night...was my turn to clean the kitchen. I only found about it because my wife shrieked, "Oh my God, you've got to be kidding me"...I'm still working on her.

But yeah, the people they interviewed did sound like sheep and I wonder how many of them were ...

I thought of a twist concerning signs such as the one posted here. Could that sign, with the appropriate verbage of course, be used as a 30.06 and void the entire shopping plaza from CHLs? So instead of each individual shop having their own 30.06, they just add it to that marquee. Would that be ...

I've a Federal HydraShock +P 185 gr through all my .45s. I seem to get consistent performance and since I'm pretty much still a n00b when it comes to ballistics, I'm not going to fix something that isn't broken.

I don't know, I think it would depend on where I lived and the areas I frequent most. I open carry inside my home and while on the balcony. Visitors and nieghbors seem to freak out just by seeing the straps of my shoulder holster and I swear one day someone is going to call Irving PD. Has already ...

I'm strange. I have to be warm (hot) at all times otherwise my sinuses start going wacky, I get headaches, and am generally uncomfortable. So I'm the oddball you might see wearing a hooded sweatshirt and shorts in 95+ degree weather. For me, it's comfortable and better than laying in the house ...

No, I went to school in Yankee Land. Fairliegh Dickinson (aka Fairly Ridiculous) University to be exact. I've just noticed that an increasing number of schools are offering this service, which I think is good. But when thinking about it objectively and understanding SMS/text message technology, I ...

If you ask me, I'd say Beretta. Most signs, to me, look like Beretta 92s.

My only issue with this has been how is this system going to be administered. To be effective, you would have to mass broadcast this alert. All carriers simply use the TN to transmit a SMS message from phone to phone, but not all carriers have a gateway that allows transmittal via a e-mail address ...

I tend to back up any opinions or 'facts' that I read with my own independent research -- no matter what the subject matter. Everyone is inclined to to have thier own interpretation and usually within those lies the absolute truth. When it comes to Texas gun laws, I have various sites with the ...

I think it's the heat that causes people to go crazy.

Was coming back from Alabama once when some joker decided he wanted to oogle my wife and make obscene gestures. I put some distance between us and managed to get over into the far right, thinking if he came back, he could oogle me. He ...

+1 on already being racked and leaving an escape route. I like to leave enough room to make a hard-cut in either direction. I actually started doing this after I was rear-ended once. But after living through a rash of car-jackings in New Jersey, it seemed like a good defensive/preventitive idea.

I joined the Bushmaster club a few weeks ago -- XM15 E2S. I figured since it was my first long gun, I'd go with something less expensive, reliable, and that had a good following behind it. Took her out this past weekend for the first time and it was blast! Dead on accuracy. Range some range ammo ...

I believe the Kimber Compact II is Officer sized. So many folks have used so many different terms on me, I've become confoosed. At any rate, it's a 4inch barrel, a hoot to shoot, and my favorite carry weapon. The HK P2 SK has been a little lonely this summer.
