Re: WTT: 3rd gen G23 with 5 mags for 3rd gen G19 (Austin, TX)

How much would you like to get for it?

Well, ideally, I'd like to do an even trade for a 3rd gen G19. Make me an offer, though. I'll gladly listen. :)

Well if I have to go first I am going to have to start off low. I sure would hate to give you more for it than I have to.

Check ...

WTT: 3rd gen G23 with 5 mags for 3rd gen G19 (Austin, TX)

I'm gauging interest right now in my G23 with 5 mags. I got it brand new last summer, and I really love the gun. However, with ammo prices rising, I'd like to trade it for a G19 (and yes, I have thought about buying a new barrel, but I don't want to go that route). A nice advantage of going to the ...

Re: Broken mainpage frame

Why not just direct your browser to the correct .php index page and forget about it?

Because the whole purpose of the index.* page is so that you don't have to manually type in index.php after the URL. You don't go to PayPal's site and type in http://www.paypal.com/index.jsp, do you? It's quite ...

Broken mainpage frame

I don't know if you realized this, but http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/ actually splits into 2 frames, and the frame on the left merely has a broken image and is taking up room. It's been like this for a few weeks now, and I just figured I'd point it out. You have 2 index pages here ...

Mine was finally issued today and will ship tomorrow. That makes my total time period 74 days, but hey, I got it!

Are you still waiting? Mine's still says processing. I'm tempted to call them tomorrow afternoon if it doesn't change by then. I'm getting awfully anxious. :(

Ah, ok. They're gonna have to check Travis, Collin, and possibly Dallas county for me. From what I gather, Travis county is usually really slow with background checks which is ironic seeing as that's where we send our CHL apps. Oh, well....

I'm afraid I'm about to join you. Tomorrow (well, today, seeing as it's now the 13th), marks my 60th day. I dunno what's going on, but I guess they must be really backed up.

Glad to hear it! I should follow suit very very soon. Mine was received about a week after yours. :)

Any news yet?

Unfortunately not. I just checked, and it's still processing. I'd think it'd be done by the end of this week. That seems to be the current trend, at least. I think it's been ...

Mark G26, you were definitely right, and if I had waited another day to post this thread, I would've realized it. I got my packet and PIN number today in the mail. Thanks for the info!

Re: Applied for CHL, but moving soon - what to do?

If you paid online, they will send you the application to sign. You will have a chance to make corrections and add your new address then. Also attach a note explaining your move and when it will be.

Oh, sweet. When can I expect that to come? I'll be moving in a little over 2 weeks, and I'll be ...

Yes. DPS, not DOT. ;-) 800-224-5744. And be ready to wait a while to get to talk with a real person.

Welcome to the forum.
Haha, duh. Thanks. :)
