That should be the response. But that won't be the response. Glock is a boot licker just like all the larger companies.

Re: FFL holding guns and suppresor

A friend has a situation where he had two guns and a suppressor shipped to a FFL, items were delivered to the FFL in January and he won’t release them. Keeps saying they’re not ready.
What legal steps/recourse can he take to get his purchases from the FFL?

Carry, leave it locked in your vehicle, and if they terminate you for that (and are dumb enough to put it in writing) then your attorney will laugh his way to the bank for you.

Yes, via getting a hunter permit or other sporting defense. If I recall correctly.

But yes, as they should be able too.

Re: State Fair of Texas 2025

East Texas State Fair handled it with LEO's and LTC's going to the side and showing a uniformed officer their credentials. Everybody else walked through the upright post-style metal detectors. Seemed to work well.

But that's just common sense.

Re: United Kingdom: the police state

Same totalitarian steps with a different initial orientation. I hate watching history rhyme with itself. How many hundreds of thousands is the UK going to put into gulags for this cycle of history? Any guesses?

I'd go with 700,000 when its all said and done, and another 40 year cycle for any chance ...

Re: Seattle waterfront shooting

There is no claim to self defense when you initiate the illegal conduct. Thats Aggravated theft (due to disabled status), and assault at a minimum to begin the encounter. Don't do illegal things (other than minor class C misdemeanor) and expect to claim self-defense.

I'm fine with them writing it down, just in case an event happens they can display that you were properly armed by their policy. Should destroy after 30 days or something though.

MP5 With forced reset trigger kit, No stamps (other than SBR)

It looks like now, with the Forced Reset Trigger systems back on the market, somebody has figured out MP5 kits for FRTs. Fire rates are similar or faster than stock HK. All in likely a 2k to 2500 investment for non-HK brands, but man this thing is going on the long-term wishlist. What do yall think ...

Short answer: he said he wouldn't trust it with a round in the chamber.

Kinda like how Sig quietly updated the user manual to state to keep the chamber empty until ready to shoot.

(Revision 11) explicitly states in bold: “CARRY YOUR PISTOL WITHOUT A ROUND IN THE CHAMBER”

The Sig forums ...

Re: Sig P320 un-commanded discharges

Gunsite, among others, have banned or suspended 320s on their ranges.

Gunsite Academy has always placed firearms safety as paramount.
Currently, there are significant questions being asked in our community about the operation of the SIG 320 Pistol.
After much consideration, we have decided that ...
