Massive Somali Fraud Rings in Minnesota

Post by rtschl »

This will make your blood boil - and word is out that Minnesota may not be the state with the largest amount of fraud - possibly in the billions of dollars. Rumors are that other states with Somali fraud rings are operating too. This includes fraudulent day cares, transportation services, and more. Several independent journalists are tracking the grants and physically going to the places of business. I have seen other posts where money tracked to the alleged fraudulent business and magically, same business is making donations to..... Democrats both in Minnesota and other states.

Nick Shirley broke the story on X.com (formerly twitter). He has the full 42 minute video pinned at the top of his page right now (link below):

Only network to cover so far is Foxnews, and even they were late. Rep. James Comer said the House Oversight Committee is being called in to investigate. No coverage by any mainstream newspaper, or network.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler has stated that she is cutting off and clawing back ALL SBA grants to Minnesota effective immediately (post was yesterday):

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem just posted on X:

Homeland Security Investigations @ICEGov
are on the ground in Minneapolis right now conducting a massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud.

More coming.

You really want your blood boiling?

One special outrage that flew under the radar this holiday season surfaced after Christmas: In November, Minnesota Judge Sarah West (DFL Party) tossed out a jury’s unanimous guilty verdict against one Abdifatah Yusuf of Promise Health Services, convicted of masterminding a $7.2-million Medicaid fraud. She based her reversal on the prosecution failing to exclude other reasonable, rational inferences inconsistent with Yusuf’s guilt. That’s rich. Is the prosecution obliged to provide alibis for the guy they’re prosecuting? Maybe in Minnesota, with its above average legal code. Anyway, Yusuf just walked. End of story. Maybe.
Evil, so called judges are out of control in this country.

What good is it to try, convict and sentence criminals if judges are just finding reasons to let them go?

Believe it or not, this one was not an evil judge. It is an evil law in Minnesota and she ruled by the law. Their law says that in a circumstantial case, the burden of proof on the prosecutor includes proving that no legal explanation of the behavior can exist, no matter what the jury believes. In her ruling she mentioned several possible legal explanations of the behavior that the prosecutors did not address at all.

I hate this, but it is the legislators and the law that I put the blame on, not the judge (in this one case at least).

Sounds like the Jury box has failed, yet again.

We've been out of boxes a long time.
