Re: Looking for a new gun safe
DItto...I have a Champion safe being delivered Thursday morning coming from Lone Star Safe co. They were a pleasure to deal with and very fair on price and service. Its not in my house yet, but I would recommend them again without hesitation. Thanks for all the input and suggestions.

Thanks to everyone for their replies and opinions.
I guess this is a moot point. Though there is a sign (in the staff break room :rules: ) and not one at the entrances. I just found out, from my gf, that the boss doesn't want employees or clients CCing in the business. However, it turns out that ...

Re: What to carry?
As TDdude said, carry the one that fits your hand. In my case, its carry the one that fits in my hand as well as one that I can shoot well. For me, that would be my Sig p229 or my Glock-30.

Jmra and Cwood, thanks for your replies.
Here's a pic of the 30.06 as it is posted in only the staff break room - none posted at any of their 3 entrances to the building.

Re: Opinions on new firearms
Buy the Sig p229. I have two of them - one in .9mm and the other in .40 S&W. They're both tack drivers right out of the box and are simple to disassemble / reassemble for maintenance. Mine will shoot any ammo you feed it without any problems and performs double duty as the night stand gun.

Another 30.06 posting thread...
Ok, I know that the 30.06 signs must be posted at the entrance of buildings for them to be legit.
What if they're only posted in the staff break room on the staff bulletin board? - No, I don't work there but my g/f does.
I know the sign is there. Should I ignore it or what since its not properly ...
