Hi All,
I am going to get my Instructors certification. I have submitted my online application to the state, is there anything I need to mail in/scan to the state? I've been looking online, but I can't really find anything helpful on the DPS website, and I searched through the forum but couldn't find anything... When I checked out, the message said I needed to mail/fax in information. Any help is appreciated... Thanks!!!
P.S. I HAVE scheduled my BIT/BPI for a couple weeks from now, I do know that is required.

Re: New Instructor Questions
Yes, you will have to provide evidence to DPS that you are a certified pistol instructor, as evidenced by your NRA Instructirs ID card, which you'll be able to print out shortly after you take, and pass, both the BIT and Basic Pistol Instructor's Course. Your trainer should have the info to the NRA within a few days of the course. Once that is done, and you can log on and see your credentials, you'll need to print out the ID card and/or certificate, and mail or fax them to DPS to be added to your file.
As far as I remember, that's about it, unless you're applying for any fee reductions other than the one for age -if you are, you'll also need to provide the supporting documentation for that, as well.
