Howdy ya'll, i've been reading the waiting room forum for some time now as I patiently await my plastic. I wanted to share my timeline with ya'll because honestly, reading the ones already posted has helped me keep my sanity somewhat in hopes that mine won't take long! Haha. Well here it goes... Btw... My status just changed online today where i can change my address, report lost or stolen card, etc...

Application completed 7/13
Fingerprints 7/15
Mailed paperwork 7/16
Austin received paperwork 7/18
Chl online status changed 8/4

Thanks, i originally took my chl class back in 2008, but the job market shutdown shortly afterwards during the recession that hit (i was in construction at the time) so my chl had to wait so i could get bills paid. Then in '09 the laws changed where i could legally carry in the car so i just let it ride after that. I wanted to get my chl before open carry comes into effect in January and honestly there seems to be more need to have it on your person now than ever. My wife just mailed hers off today. Will take my WallyWalk this weekend, and maybe a Costco Cruise or a Sam's Stroll too!
