Email confirmation?

Email confirmation?
Quick question. I did the online application for my CHL, got the email confirmation, told to mail in the supporting documents and the original form from my instructor. Question is: Am I supposed to receive an email confirmation saying that my supporting documents were received in the mail, or is the email for the online application the only confirmation I am supposed to receive?

I'm in the same procedural posture and I haven't received anything other than the automated confirmation you received.jaystekan wrote:Quick question. Thank you, just wanted to make sure my documents didn't go missing in the mail. Knowing I am not alone in not receiving an email confirming my supporting dcuments arrived is a bit of a relief.
Re: Email confirmation?
I submitted the CHL 100 online on the RSD website on Tuesday last week and on Thursday got an automated email back saying that it was received.
Had fingerprints taken on Saturday and today sent an email through RSD asking for confirmation that the fingerprints were received and am waiting to hear back from them.
If I were you, I'd go to the RSD website and submit an inquiry.

Unfortunately, I mailed my chl-100 via USPS priority, rather than email it in. I called today and the lady on the phone said the mailroom was backed up and just because I did not receive an email confirmation, does not mean they haven't received it, it may just be stuck in the mailroom backlog. Oh well, I am not really in any hurry to get my CHL, but sure would be nice to see some progress.

I'm in no hurry either... at least not in any more hurry than anyone else. Still, the sooner that I can be armed the better. My employer has a policy that we are not allowed to even conceal a gun in the outside parking lot unless we have a license and register the gun with security.jaystekan wrote:

It's a rule that I don't intend to violate, even though it may actually violate my rights according to the state law.

There's no "may" about that violation, but if it works for you then it works for you.allisji wrote:I'm in no hurry either... at least not in any more hurry than anyone else. Re: Email confirmation?
I emailed them October 1st asking if my documents were received and for application status. They have yet to respond.allisji wrote:I submitted the CHL 100 online on the RSD website on Tuesday last week and on Thursday got an automated email back saying that it was received.
