I visit this site from my phone and every time open the site I have to log in even though I click the remember me box. Does this happen to anyone else or can a change my parameters and some way?

you need to check your cookie settings ...
the site remembers who you are by cookies
Many modern devices/browsers "manage" cookies

I have Mercury browser on my IPad and here is the procedure:
I log in and read posts
I choose one to reply to, I'm presented with the log in screen
I log in and type the reply, when I hit post, I am presented with the log in screen again
After logging in, I discover that what I wrote is gone
I repeat the entire process every time

I finally had to quit using Mercury. Safari works okay, so it is either a problem with the server software and Mercury, Mercury and IOS, or all three. Mercury works fine on other bulletin boards using what looks to be the same server software. This started after the upgrade done here.

I have to re-enter about every 60 days. The rest of the time, it goes right in. Both on an iPhone and iPad.

Laptops have worked 100%.

Using a 3rd party browser is likely the issue
Make sure you are NOT in "Private Browsing mode
Enable private browsing will stop Mercury from remembering history and cookies."
Since that mode will do exactly what you are describing

If you are using Apple devices, make sure you are not in "Private Browsing Mode". I couldn't even switch to email then return to this site without having to log in again, until I noticed that private browsing was on, and turned it off. Much better now.

I think the server resets the cookies whenever it sees something it doesn't like, too. I usually have to re-login whenever I go out to CA, for example.

I think...
