Hmmmm...Halprin is a Jewish name. Why are so many leftist, Jewish folks involved in gun control?

He is an employee of a large, publicly owned corporation. I rather doubt he created the policy on his own initiative.

How does one account for Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Kennedy, McCain, Giuliani, Pataki, Daley, Bush, Rangel, Brady, etc.?

Edited to add: I dumped my ebay and paypal accounts a couple days ago, in response to ebay's new policy, and made my reason clear to both outfits.

The only things I ever used these accounts for was buying reloading equipment. Gunbroker has an equipment section. Gunsinternational does too, but I haven't found one on Gunsamerica.

I don't see myself quitting eBay right now. I did send them a civil e-mail voicing my irritation and their obvious pro-criminal agenda (banning gun items while allowing pornography and drug paraphenalia sales – hey, I think drugs should be legal, but that's an aside).

I buy and sell just about anything, not just gun-related items, and have found eBay easier to get a wide audience to look at your stuff. Try getting a good price for an antique whatever-it-is – eBay's your playing field.

I did buy a pistol off Gunsamerica and the seller was a FLAKE and I finally got the gun (misrepresented, too). I have sold a few nice guns there and my buyers were afraid of getting ripped off.

Please make suggestions for other gun and non-weapon venues so we can patronize them.

I bought a revolver through GunsAmerica. The transaction went perfectly and nothing was misrepresented. YMMV.

GunsAmerica is not an auction. It is a classified ad site. You can negotiate the price privately with the seller. Most asking prices are ridiculous, and stuff sits there for years.

The two big auction sites are AuctionArms and GunBroker.

I think AuctionArms is the best site. Gunbroker also sufferes from high initials prices and the same items listed repeatedly for years.

You seem familiar with these things. On Auction Arms one of the sellers referred to bidpay.com so I looked at their web site. It seems like they do the same as paypal. I was squeamish enough about signing up with paypal, even though the seemed well-known. Never heard of bidpay before. Do you have any idea if they are reputable or not? Thanks in advance for any info, or suggestions about paying for guns etc. from auction sites.

I've not used them, but I've read good things about Blue Broker. I believe they're either a subsidiary of, or were started by people working at, Tennessee Guns.

Actually, I won't use Paypal or anything like it. There seem to be too many ways to use them fraudulently, and I'm too lazy to research further.

When I want to check out a company, I use Google to search for their name in combination with words like scam and rip off. You can quite a few related to BidPay. It is quite possible that BidPay is innocent, but people can manipulate these sites and defraud people.

my fave anti gunners out there are the lovely people at craigslist. Local community bull honky my foot! Ebay just makes me sick now. I can't handle much more of this. Though I must say that craigslist is easy to get around if you post right and are persistent enough. worked for me
