Application: Dec 27 2015
LTC class 1/26/2016
Finger Prints 1/29/2016
RSD Docs Received 1/25/2016 and finger prints show info sent 2/03/2016.
I do have an arrest I'm sure will pop up and copies of dismissal were ordered to have on hand. Lost those in a house fire in 2011. Sure I will need to mail them in so I expect longer than a 6 to 8 week timeline.

Re: My Timeline
You should have asked the court for copies of those documents and submitted them along with your application. Once your case pops up on their background check, they may suspend processing until you provide them with the documentation. It's your job to provide it, not theirs to dig it up....and they won't dig it up. Instead, they will send you a letter asking for the documents, which you will then have to obtain from the relevant court system. The processing of your application will then be delayed by however long it takes for you to obtain the docs and mail them in. If you had done the due diligence up front, could could have avoided the delay.Gixxer2k4 wrote:Application: Dec 27 2015

Welcome to the forum, but be advised that DPS tends to run a tight ship with these kinds of matters.
