What a bozo. If he hadn't fired his weapon, he might have actually gotten away. By drawing attention to himself, he didn't even make it out of the parking lot.

I suspect the knee jerk reaction will be to post 06/07 signs?
Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.

Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

Hmmm... Not unlike a robbery here in our small town Wal Mart. Gun displayed, got hinky when the cashier wasn't quick enough, fired a shot in the floor.
Interesting.
Interesting.
Re: Armed Robber Opens Fire in Dallas Walmart
Probably. Perhaps they should be different and try "No Armed Robbery Allowed" signs....LSUTiger wrote:I suspect the knee jerk reaction will be to post 06/07 signs?
I'm sure the criminal element will follow through with their request to not rob the store.

Re: Armed Robber Opens Fire in Dallas Walmart
those signs could do a lot of good, maybe 30.08 no robbery allowed , that way robbers know which stores are safe zonesgthaustex wrote:Probably. Perhaps they should be different and try "No Armed Robbery Allowed" signs....LSUTiger wrote:I suspect the knee jerk reaction will be to post 06/07 signs?

Exactly. If only there'd been a sign, this wouldn't have happened.LSUTiger wrote:I suspect the knee jerk reaction will be to post 06/07 signs?

I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

My guess would be Glock + Bad Finger Discipline.
Surely he was not that stupid to shoot into the floor. I am convinced that he had involuntary sympathetic reflex, and discharged his weapon.
Or, it could have been a finely crafted Jiminez pistol, and actually shot all by itself. (Guns do that you know)

Couldn't have been a Jimminez. I had one of those once....darn thing wouldn't fire at all, but it bit like a crocodile. The Marshal wrote:My guess would be Glock + Bad Finger Discipline.

Corporate policy for Sams and Walmart is to follow state law. They are not going to post signs.LSUTiger wrote:I suspect the knee jerk reaction will be to post 06/07 signs?
