Best Places to Stay During Instructor Classes?

Post by Sethco »

I know this is probably somewhere, but I have searched many threads and haven't been able to find it so....
Where are the best places to stay and/or which ones should I avoid??? I'm looking for actual experiences from those who have personal knowledge of the hotels in this area. Most likely I will be staying in Georgetown. My class is scheduled for March 9-11th!

I always stayed at the La Quinta Inn. They used to hold the Instructor classroom there.

I'll be there in May. I'm going to burn off some Marriott rewards points and stay in Round Rock. It should only add ten minutes of travel time.

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Georgetown. It was ok, but only because of the price. It needed a lot of maintenance, paint, etc. but it was clean. The on-site breakfast was rather pitiful. If I had paid a lot more, I would have been very unhappy.

If I had to go back and it were just me, I would probably stay there again, but only because it's cheap, relatively speaking. Not sure I would want to take the wife there, however.
