Even with my LTC, I wouldn't bank somewhere where I felt there was an increased risk of robbery because of previous history. I sure as heck wouldn't bank at a place that posted a 30.06 sign, even an invalid one that I could technically carry past. Not because of the lack of legality of the sign, but because it would sway others from carrying there as well, and I wouldn't want to be the only person (legally) armed if something ever happened. Not to mention that criminals just see a "no guns" sign and they will consider it a target - valid sign or not.

As Haas said, drive thru is another option, but be weary of jugging. That's where someone follows you home from the bank, ATM, or store to rob or burgle you when you park or after you leave your belongings in the car.
First off, to the OP, I would bank somewhere else. Second, jugging? Such an odd word for a criminal act. Who came up with that?

Thankfully I live out in the country and my driveway is 1/4 mile long winding through trees back to the home place. If somebody follows me home to rob me, they are either very brave, or very stupid.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

I wondered about the term "jugging" also. Never heard of it, but I am behind the times.

First of all, if your bank is one of the too big to fail outfits with branches everywhere, they are too stupid to be reliable, and they charge confiscatory fees for any occasion. I would change just for that.

They are too stupid. If they are unable to comprehend the import of the statistics about legal LTC, and the simple notion that BGs don't care about their stupid signs, they are not the sort if people you want to deal with.

The up close experiences I have had with large banks the last 15 years or so quashed any desire I might ever have had to deal with them with my money.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Your bank is a constant target for criminals.

If one could go in armed why would you want to?

If it were me, I wouldn't care to be an adjunct bank guard...

Find another bank.

Try to get all your particulars transferred to the new bank electronically (if that's possible) as stepping into your current bank is monumentally risky.
