Yep, you were about 2 weeks ahead of us...

Still, its a process...And patience is a virtue...

BTW, are you going to carry it with you, or secure it in a safe for a rainy (non-Texas CHL) day???

We looked at ours today when we got them, went yuck on the pictures (no offence to the picture takers...) and I just locked them up for 5 years...

They be good for a back up...And if we go to Washington State, or Ohio, if I recall correctly...

Still its a great permit to have for us...I have some overlap on my New Hampshire for about another year I think, but its already redundant, so I will not get another NH this time...

Yeah, but you should get one...Get a couple more states on reciprocity, and its good for 5 years, and the renewal requires nothing more than a $10 fee, no class, no range qual...

You just have to plop down some dough for the initial class, with "llwatson", pay a $59 fee to Utah, wait about 4-5 months and bingo...You be like the rest of us...

Git er dun!

Ohhh, (snort) never mind...

BTW, if you get a letter saying its on the way, and the letter is good in the interim...Give it about a week...You'll get another letter with permit in it hopefully...

Look like they are getting it done...

This is what my wife and I done and ours has still not arrived. Several of my Church members that took the class has received theirs, but I am sure mine is somewhere. . .

Wow. I got my utah permit a few years ago and I received it in less than 30 days with a statement that it could be revoked because my background check was still "pending".

I mailed in a change of address recently and I received a new permit in 3 weeks.

Im surprised they are taking so long to issue permits now. I wonder if they did away with the practice of issuing pending the background checks.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but does anyone know of a data base where one can go to determine Texas instructors who teach the Utah class? Thanks

Actually, the wife likes my Utah picture better than the Texas one. I guess Marty should make a new career as a photographer!!
