Another couple of "waiters" - Outta here!
Me and MrsFosforos joined the CHL'ees in waiting this afternoon. We were going to mail the packets yesterday, but I forgot to bring my Alien Registration Card to work to make a photocopy of it. I don't carry it with me after having my wallet stolen from a gym locker room a few years back. If there's a card that's a pain to replace, that one sure is.
But here we finally are... tick-tock, tick-tock...
I guess I'll have plenty of time to keep practising with drawing from my C-TAC and asking my wife "Does this Glock make me look fat?"

One LESS Waiter in the Room!
Well, the plastic isn't "in hand" but the texasonline website says "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"!
Mr. Fos asked which gun would I pack for my "walmart walk" -- I said the Beretta (tomcat) -- he said, "that doesn't count"! I guess I could be brave and use the Bersa instead (still small compared to his S&W or Glock)!
Timeline - 4 weeks application in the mailbox (June 12) - online confirmation (today July 16).
