Looks like anyone who lives in Houston who might have had their plastic delivered today will be waiting just a bit longer.

The official Harris County gauge about a half-mile from my house recorded 14.84 inches between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m....all but about one inch of that fell between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Higher (slightly) water levels in neighborhood streets than with Tropical Storm Allison.

Hope none of our Forum members had house flooding or ended up with a car floating down a frontage road.

Allison set the standard for flooding around here.
