While it may be totally unrelated to CHL checks, I read in this mornings paper that records are being relocated at the courthouse in McKinney. The article was about a criminal case in Frisco and that certain records about one of the suspects are not available at this time due to the move.

That will likely slow CHL checks coming from Collin County.

Me too. And here I was, thinking that the fact that I had only lived/worked in one county for the past five years was going to help me out. :sad:

Doesn't look as if this slowed it much, if any...status changed to Processing July 5, changed to Complete Aug 15. About 40 days, on up to 50-55 once the plastic arrives...
