Try this out. I did to see if it works and it does. Pixels for this forum is 80x80 file size of 6kb.

You can use MS Paint.
Paste pic or open a pic file
Crop as warranted
Click on "Resize"
Choose "Pixels"
Uncheck "Maintain Aspect Ratio"
Then enter 80X80
Then Save
Then Save As
