The shooter was an in custody inmate. Proof that all the gun control in the world in the most secure areas doesn't stop crime.
Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.
There is no safety in denial. When seconds count the Police are only minutes away.
Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

From some of the comments posted after the story, it sounds like he disarmed a deputy, and shot him along with two others before he was taken down.
Take away the Second first, and the First is gone in a second
