Dallas County (Garland) Turn around times

Anyone applied from Garland? I was just wondering what the turn around time from this area has been. I sent my app in to Austin 8/11.

It's been 10 days and TXDPS has not even cashed my personal check yet. Now I am thinking it got lost in the mail

I wouldn't worry too much about it being lost in the mail just yet. I was told by someone in the CHL processing office that it is often 7 to 10 working days just for the mail to make it from the mail room to their office.

I am assuming you sent your packet with delivery confirmation.

all my work/residence info was in Denton Co, and it took just under 60 days door to door.

never thought about sending packet with delivery confirmation, feeling kind of stupid right now. would have saved me some worrying!
