Need a new belt

I'm highly sensitive to metals and my current belt is not working for me any more. Since I have to replace it anyhow I'd like to invest in something actually made for carrying a weapon; however, if possible I'd like to avoid metal all together. Any suggestions?

One option might be to consider a leather gun belt that has a removeable buckle, then search for a replacement buckle. For example, for years I've had a low-profile Ranger-style belt from Comp-Tac that has a Kydex insert. It's 1.25" wide but narrows to about 3/4" in the front. The buckle is held securely by three Chicago-style, removable screws. May be tougher finding a suitable new buckle, but sites like this may be a place to start: http://beepfreeproducts.com/buckles/.

The thing is that most every for-purpose gun belt I've seen has been on the masculine side of the looks scale, even the ones on GunGoddess (http://beepfreeproducts.com/buckles/). Partly it's just because they need to have enough size and rigidity to do the job.

If you are looking for a dress belt, you may want to look at the Galco Contour belt. I've had two for over 15 years and they still look and function great. They are on the expensive side however, so if you don't need a dress belt, there are other options.

Armour Belts, you will not find a better more finely crafted belt for the money. Mike is a true craftsman and does amazing work. I wear several Armoir Belts, both gun and dress. A little tip, instead of getting one of the dedicated gun belts, which is double layer leather, order a dress belt (in your preferred width) with the internal stiffener. I have one like this in an 1.5" model that is my favorite gun belt.
