Multiple employees then returned fire with their weapons
Good on the business owner for allowing (possibly even encouraging?) employees to carry self preservation tools. I bet you this shop never gets robbed again.
Keep calm and carry.

Read another article where it stated the deceased was shot by the owner with and AK. Very gun friendly jewelry store haha.

News said the three other men fled after the employee opened fire.

I would never want to be in a gun fight where I'm not the one with AK or AR.

Conroe is a little out of the,way for me, but, I'm tempted to patronize their business, because Zales and Jared are all posted 30.06 and 30.07, orange vegetable rated sparkly rock and shiny metal trinkets, Mrs.Jusme like, are hard to aquire around here.

Looks pretty gun friendly to me.

A legal self defense shooting, but immediately called his attorney to speak to the press and I would suspect the police.

Smart man.

They were all just carrying a book and were on their way to choir practice.

Probably just a misguided youth, who "got in with the wrong crowd" :biggrinjester:

Breaking news: Jewelry thieves calling for "Common Sense" gun control! Expanded background checks for jewelry store employees, and bans on "assault" weapons in the hands of potential robbery victims. "rlol" "rlol"

I am all about the store owner and employees using all force needed to stop the crime in progress. I even know his atty and don't begrudge him making that call.

I do however hope that either the police, his atty or someone he knows explains the sheer lunacy of point and shooting a rifle round through glass with no concern of the backstop. I could have been a full auto pistol and I wouldn't care, but. Rifle round over penetrating could have had disastrous results across the street.

Hopefully law enforcement will soon arrest the other 3 feral thugs who will get charged under our very Texas-friendly felony murder rule.
Please know and follow the rules of firearms safety.

Oh, I was agreeing. I found it funny (and great) that 3 of the employees fired back, owner with an AK. They picked the wrong store to rob.
