This story and the one in KS are suspicious to me. Smells like paid and orchestrated attacks by anti 2A rats to demonstrate how "folks" carrying guns is actually unsafe and ill advised.
I wouldn't be surprised if Soros funded these rats directly or indirectly, and moreover, it wouldn't shock me if CNN leaches would recommend that some kind of award be given to these rats for their heroic exposure of how 2A is unsafe.

I agree, it seems odd that these two happened so close to each other...

This one happened Sunday in Washington state.
The other one happened Wednesday in Kansas.
Just how are they "so close to each other"?

That's what I suspected you meant. With a 4-day interval between events, I disagree they were close together time-wise too.
The only thing that happened close together is us hearing about them.

Sure is a dangerous game to play to further an agenda. They wouldn't like the results if they grabbed my shotgun. Long gun retention techniques are fairly easy to learn, and practice. I think there is probably a bias, in the fact that these two incidences were widely reported, and yet when homeowners use guns to successfully defend themselves or homes, the stories are buried.JMHO

If it was staged, the gun carrier would've have been in on it as well.Jusme wrote:parabelum wrote:This story and the one in KS are suspicious to me. Smells like paid and orchestrated attacks by anti 2A rats to demonstrate how "folks" carrying guns is actually unsafe and ill advised.

Other than today I don't recall the last time I heard a story of someone being disarmed like this. Maybe I just don't pay attention to news like I should.

It does happen occasionally, but I think that these stories are more widely reported so that anti-gun folks can use them to try to show how "unsafe" we are with guns. As I said, stories where the BG is repelled by a good guy with a gun, get almost no mention in the press.

Good example of how just having a firearm isn't enough. Training is also necessary.
