I usually find clickbait thread titles pretty annoying... but I'll admit that this one cracked me up.

I might be getting soft...

"According to Kentucky State Police Officer Steven Strange, 39, confronted Melissa Roberts, 32, inside her Stanton home.

Strange was then shot in the chest with a 12-gauge shotgun, police said. The Powell County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene."

Is that just bad typing or is my ESL kicking in? :headscratch

I think that it needs to have a comma after "Kentucky State Police Officer", otherwise it seems that she shot the police officer? Am I missing it?

It's just a Bering Arms mistake. The word "officer" doesn't belong there.

The WKYT linked article says:
According to Kentucky State Police Steven Strange, 39, confronted Melissa Roberts, 32, inside her Stanton home.

Unless Strange was a Kentucky State Police Officer. Then, according to his corpse, that's what happened.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
