Just mailed in my forms, took my class 2 weeks ago and completed the application online hoping to speed things along. Nope, had to wait for paperwork from the state. That took a week, anyway have my pin number and the wait begins. This forum has been informative just wish I discovered it before filling application online could have saved a week.

Welcome aboard. Grab a cool frosty beverage and get comfortable. Soon you will learn the definition of eternity. Eternity is the amount of time it takes between when you send you app in and when you get your plastic in the mail.
How we conduct ourselves defines us. At the end of the day we answer to ourselves. At the end of our days we answer to God.

Welcome. This is an excellent board and a wealth of information is here.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

As one of the old timers to shooting & carry I want to say thank you for that. We as Moderators have that as our goal. I know many of our members who are gray in the beard also do.
Thank you bigolbigun

Welcome, Striker. And come join us September 29 at the Texas CHL Forum Day at PSC in Pearland if you can. You'll get to meet a number of Forum members, plus participate in all the cool shooting stuff and informative lectures.

I-10 East to I-45, head south, exit NASA Rd. 1, and you're almost there.
