Brooklyn Man Bribes NYPD Officers to Expedite Gun Licenses

Post by Pawpaw »

Apparently this had been going on for a while with the guy making quite a bit of money... until he tried to bribe the wrong cop.

If anyone in the Federal DOJ were really interested in the rights of individuals, NY handgun licensing would have been investigated a long time ago due to Second Amendment violations. It was well understood that the politically connected and the bribers are the only ones who can get a concealed license in NY while I was living in NJ. Of course, handgun licensing is not the only thing done that same way in NYC.

Exactly!

If I lived in NY and could afford it, I'd have paid an expeditor (fixer?) to get my permit through. I'd still be trying to fix the process, but I want to be able to defend my family in the mean time.

How is this different than businesses and churches that pay cops to expedite traffic in and out of their parking lots?
