What is "traveling man"?
A,question to ask if you are a Freemason?
Just ask it as it is.

Members of a fraternal organization founded on brotherly love, relief, and truth. You've probably heard of us as Free Masons.

I see.
Muslims have brotherly love for the sake of Allah.
Muslims have duty to help each other, and others too.
Muslims are ordered to seek Knowledge, learn and seek the right path.

How old is Freemasonry?
Islam started with Prophet and Messenger of God, Adam peace be upon him

Beiruty, Freemasonry accepts people of all the world's major religions. It isn't itself a religion, but rather a semi-secret society of people who seek to better themselves, and who acknowledge that there is a higher authority than man. I was (am no longer) active in Alhambra #322 and Pasadena #272 back in California. We had Christians, as well as others. I remember helping a Hindu go through the steps. I don't specifically remember any Muslim members, but they would have been welcome.

Freemasonry claims to go back to the building of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem. I don't know how historically accurate that is.

I have a dear friend, a Muslim who is now a Freemason. He is up in the Scottish rite degrees too. Some allied-body of Freemasons had Arab-inspired theme ,also known as Shriners .

My Dad was Past Worshipful Master of the Blue Lodge, and Past Grand (State) High Priest in York Rite and was awarded the Anointed Order of High Priesthood when I was growing up in Missouri

I am a Senior DeMolay and Past State Master Councilor in Missouri. I never petitioned the lodge as I wanted to be able to dedicate time to the ritual work and go through the chairs. Just have always seemed to busy to add that to my list of other organizations. Just hope to do it before I am too old and my mind is unable to memorize the ritual work.
