Hello all,

I have greatly enjoyed perusing this site as a guest since I took my class, and thought I would go ahead and join today.
The information contained here has been extremely helpful throughout this waiting process.

My CHL timeline:

Class taken: July 21
Packet sent to DPS: July 23 (USPS Express)
Packet received by DPS: July 24 (signature returned via email)
PIN received: August 8
Application completed/license issued: August 22
I am now waiting on the postal service. :grin:

Amen. I asked my instructor if he had ever had to even draw his weapon, and he said never in 8 years of carrying. I hope to have the same good fortune. Thanks for the warm welcome.
