I logged into the progress tracking site this morning to discover that I had been approved.

here's my timeline:

8/6 packet sent to austin
8/7 packet received (day 1)
8/17 dps status changed to "processing application" (day 11)
8/31 status changed to "application completed - license issued or certificate active" (day 25)

waiting for the mailman to deliver the plastic
