License sent to incorrect address...

Post by InfoTechCHL2007 »

I guess my USPS wait starts over tomorrow. DPS sent my plastic to the wrong address the first time around. I thought I would check in with them today after waiting the prescribed 7-10 busness days. At least I know where it landed...I was getting a little concerned.

Was the wrong address on the plastic? Your name and address is all you see on the envelope they send with the CHL plastic

That's a good question. Since I never saw it, I have to assume they put the wrong address on the envelope.

Then the wrong address was on your CHL plastic. There is a window that shows your name and address which is the CHL plastic.

Hope it does not take long to get it fixed !

You may find it interesting that the address on my license was correct, according to Simone at DPS. My local postal representatives somehow managed to deliver it to the incorrect address, however. Hopefully, this time around it will make it all the way to my mailbox.

I believe I posted this once before but I will say it again....

A similar thing happened to me on my first license. It was mailed in an envelope with someone else's license in the same envelope (mine BEHIND theirs).

I did not get it in the regular time and call them and got the same 30 bull you got. They had to wait till that guy that got his (and mine) mailed mine back to them before they would then send it correctly to me.

It came about 2 weeks later.
